Inspired by writers whose sketch revues I performed in Chicago, I began to contribute my own sketches! I took classes in The Second City’s Comedy Writing Program and continued to find my voice and point of view. Ultimately, I wrote my one-man show, Altered Boy (see below), which I mounted at three different venues! I eventually progressed to screenwriting, recently graduating from the UCLA Extension Television Writing Program. There, I wrote a comedy spec script and two half-hour comedy pilots (available upon request).

From devout Catholic beginnings to finally accepting my sexuality, Altered Boy explores themes of family, religion, relationships, orientation, pride, desires, love, and more through monologue, sketch, and song. See the videos below!

This series of monologues tells the story of how I almost became a priest. I know, right! You certainly wouldn’t be reading this if I did! See the rest on my YouTube.

A corny Christian act replaces explicit lyrics from rap and r&b songs with biblical references, to hilarious results. Parts 2 and 3 available on my YouTube.

Working at a destination gar bay isn’t as glamorous as it may sound.
